Last week I returned from a trip to Yellowstone. Scratch that, I really should say, a great two week trip to beautiful Yellowstone. This National park just has it all. Great vistas, plants, trees & wonderful abundant wildlife. But most important to me, I felt it has the magic….
Although a great group of people know it just by this one, the Old Faithful. Worldwide know for it’s tall geyser. But if you just skip this Old Faithful one during the big crowd times and go and see it at sunrise, you’ll agree with me. You for sure will see it has that magic….
And mists to not be missed……
Giving it that magic touch…
It just humbled me. It was my first visit to the park and I just couldn’t grasp the amount of openness and wideness of the valleys. The height of the tops of the tallest geysers. The warmest & deepest beautiful colors it showed me. Yes it humbled me. I felt little in a big magical National Park……
So….as you might expected, more pictures to follow 🙂
“And above all, watch with glittering eyes at the whole world around you, because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”
~Roald Dahl
Beautiful… I cant wait to travel out to Yellowstone to see these sights with my own eyes.
And camera Wes, see it with a lens eye view 😉
Nog even aan het nagenieten van je vakantie

Het was echt een sprookje. Dank je dat we mee mogen genieten.
You’re welcome Bep.
you were the Lucky One Petra ……x
I sure am Ine.
Very nice Petra. Looking forward to more photos. Now be honest – doesn’t that beat water lilies? LOL! Thanks for sharing.
:-)))) Uh….. waterlilies have some degree of that magic too.
But will admit this felt a bit more of an adventure. Just a little bit more adrenaline seeing a sow feed her cub than watch a water lily open up….. Slightly different yes 🙂
Well said Petra… Your pictures are beautiful. Love how you describe Yellowstone. I can not describe to you how much we love the National Parks. Yellowstone and Grand Canyon are favorites.
Thank you Donna. Grand Canyon makes you feel little too. In a different way, but that definitely is a beautiful park as well.
Great magical pictures!
