During my last visit to the Netherlands I wanted to photograph this building. A friend knew where it was and so we went there together and had a great time photographing it.
I just love the architecture on it. Pretty over the top, but very Dutch indeed. It resembles the Dutch “Zaanse” homes. With the special details in their different roofs lines per home.
The building is actually in use as a hotel. Still think it, even though locals think it is a bit of a touristy building, is a great building and coherent to the region it is in.
