All our sweetest hours fly fastest.

This morning when I got back from walking the dogs I saw something yellow fluttering next to the drive way. First I thought it was a fallen leaf as it was under a tree.  But all the other leaves were laying still and there wasn’t that much wind. So took a closer look and saw this yellow moth.

It was definitely past its prime time. But still very pretty.  And it was a fairly big one too. When I got closer it layed on the driveway really quietly. it had a very fluffy body and wide wings. Bit weathered wings. But do hope it will make it out flying again and enjoy some more of its sweetest hours.
