During one of my walks at Bass lake I came across these……
Such a pretty and colorful sight along the trail. They just popped because of their color and shape. Don’t think I had ever seen them before, but thought they were very neat. I snapped a quick shot with my iPhone and started googling them when I got home. Had no luck in finding what they were, so I asked a friend and was told they are named Hearts-a-Bustin or strawberry bush. Cute! Besides its blooming appearance, I now also liked its name! The iPhone picture was so, so, and thought my new find deserved a “real” photo. So I went back to Bass lake with my camera this time. 🙂
They had opened up now and you could see the insides a bit more. Very different! A new beauty found 🙂
Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not.
