“Sometimes I arrive just when God’s ready to have someone click the shutter.”
Was walking in a park and the swan just posed for me when I made this picture. Just loved the reflection in the water, the drops and even the swan’s pose. Thank you Mr. Swan. You’ve made my day. In photography you need that little luck. At least, I do. Be there at the right time and the right place and have a camera with you. Can’t tell the number of moments I’ve been at the right time and right place and not have camera with me. Nowadays I always fall back on my “oh-so-trusted” iPhone. I almost always have sorta like a camera with me and that makes me feel good. I vision pictures all the time when I’m out and about. It’s a blessing and a curse sometimes because I can’t seem to shut it off. Last week I was having dinner with friends and even a salmon decorated with lemons and herbs on a wooden plank freshly of the grill made me want to make a picture of it. Awkward….. Maybe I should work on that urge a bit. But, come to think of it, maybe not 🙂
“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
― Ansel Adams
That’s a positive thing right? That must be the reason.Too many photographs, books, music and loving people…..
Have a great weekend!
