During one of my visits to Duke Gardens in Durham and the Raulston arboretum in Raleigh this last week or so I noticed the Japanese Maples. The ones that have the nice fall colors even in Spring. How beautiful is that?
Warm reds in Spring. So pretty especially when early morning lights shine through them. Showing every little detail.
They also have these nice curvy branches, who only get more beautiful the older they get.
“And you, how old are you?
I asked the maple tree:
While opening one hand,
– he started blushing.”
