Leaves, to me, make excellent objects to photograph. Especially if the sun hits them and the light does it best to get through. The texture and detail that shows up can really fascinate me.
Every leaf, and even more with different amounts of light and shadows, make them unique. Young and fresh green leaves trigger me most to make photos like that. Armed with a macro lens, I can get lost in photography very easily on those.
And in B&W those details show even more. It so cool to see how every line is created. Evenly and orderly. Like I said, fascinating….
Our job is to record, each in his own way, this world of light and shadow and time that will never come again exactly as it is today.
