Some Snowball flowers are blooming in the backyard now. When living in the Netherlands I always liked seeing them in the field flower bouquets in the market stands. So my mom gave me a snow ball bush years ago when she was visiting. We planted it together on a hot day and in dry grounds. It survived that first hot Summer and since then every year it has been giving new white dots of flowers. Which I cut and put in a vase to enjoy a little bit closer up and a little bit longer. They’re so pretty and have a flowery kind of elegance over them.
The greatest gift is a portion of thyself.
